'THE FIRST DATE'
A short silent narrative, depicting the intimate tension/connection between two people.
The interpersonal feelings are hinted at through the placement of their hands/feet but they feel hesitant to touch in public, unfortunately a common issue within LGBTQ+ dating - especially in a post-pandemic world, where intimate touch can sometimes feel scary.
Submitted to the Batsford Prize for the 2022 'Communication & Connection' Brief.
